POLISH SAUSAGE CASSEROLE

1 pound Fischer’s Polish Sausage, in 2 inch slices
1 large onion, chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 package Au Gratin Potatoes
2 1/2 cups hot water
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 medium carrots, in 2 inch strips1 (10 oz.) package frozen chopped broccoli, drained
1 cup cheddar cheese

Cook Fischer’s Sausage and onion in oil until tender, 5 minutes. Stir in potatoes, sauce mix, water and pepper. Heat to boiling stage, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in carrot strips; cover again and simmer until tender, 10 minutes. Stir in broccoli and cheese until heated and cheese melted. Use a 12 inch skillet.
